Telemio vs Sentry

Sentry is well known for error tracking. Telemio gives you that wider observability picture before, during, and after something breaks.

Product comparison based on public vendor documentation and pricing checked November 2, 2026. Pricing and packaging can change.

I would start with Telemio if I want to understand the whole running product, not only the errors that make it to an issue queue.

The same workspace can show traces, logs, metrics, runtime relationships, errors, model calls, tool calls, and agent activity. That gives a coding agent much more context when it is working on the repo.

Why I would pick Telemio

Telemio is useful before something breaks. Codex can inspect what is already instrumented, add what is missing, run the app, and check the telemetry again.

For AI features, Telemio can also stay metadata-first. You can track model, tool, latency, token use, cost, retries, and outcomes without automatically storing every prompt or raw tool result.

What Telemio does well

  • Errors beside traces, logs, metrics, and runtime context.
  • Application and AI-agent activity in one workspace.
  • MCP for Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and other clients.
  • Continuous verification as the code changes.
  • A broader view than issue tracking alone.

A quick note on Sentry

Sentry has a polished error and issue workflow, and session replay is a specialist feature Telemio does not currently try to match. If those are the center of your monitoring workflow, they can still be useful. For broader observability, Telemio covers more of the running application in one place.

If Sentry is already in the company

You can keep it for any specialist workflow people still rely on and start using Telemio for the wider application. If you do not need those specialist features, Telemio may cover the job without adding another tool.

Price

Telemio starts free, then costs $20, $50, and $150 across its paid tiers.

Sentry has a free plan and paid team plans with separate usage limits for different signals.

Bottom line

I would choose Telemio if I want the coding agent to understand more of the running product and help keep observability current as the software changes.
